I came to an apostate conclusion at age 13 in 1976 when I found myself still alive in one piece and my family pretended like no one expected the end to come the year before.
It was very rough teen years after that..... when I literally didn't believe in anything.

I agree Sea Breeze that there are probably many scriptures one can use to demonstrate Watchtower doesn't have the truth as taught in the Bible.
True. But, this is the only scripture that states twice that if a person preaches a different message than what the apostles preached they are cursed of God. The GB is proud of all their changing doctrines and calls them : adjustments, increased understandings, new light etc.
Gal. 1: 8:9 is a direct assault on their idolatry.... no doctrines, no arguing, no subjective viewpoints - just replacing lies with truth.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
It's easy to get JW's to admit that the apostles did not teach a two-tier salvation: one with the new covenant and one without the new covenant. Once they admit this, simply read the above scripture.

Joe, he was 48. He had been disfellowshipped twice and had recently decided to go back about 4 months ago. When he was not reinstated he kind of went off the deep end...
That's just terrible. I don't know even what to say. I can only say those elders have blood on their hands and do not understand what GRACE means.
i don't suppose anyone knows for sure, but do we have any kind of hint of what would happen if all of the governing body members died at the same time- such that nobody was left to appoint successors?
in lieu of any solid evidence, i'd also be interested in hearing some speculation based on what we already know about the organizational structure.. it would certainly throw a wrench in either the teaching that the faithful and discreet slave will survive into the great tribulation and/or the implied doctrine that the the gb succession arrangement is justifiable biblically.

ezekiel 34:25 says .
and i will make a covenant of peace with them, and i will rid the land of vicious wild beasts, so that they may dwell securely in the wilderness and sleep in the forests.. the land is said to be rid of vicious wild beasts, so why does the watchtower picture in the new pure worship book show a large predatory cat on the tree in this picture?
